Chemistry App

Overview

Chemistry App is an educational chemistry app developed by Kheni Tech. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information when you use our app.

This app is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over. We collect the minimum data necessary to provide, improve, and promote the app.

Information We Collect

We collect only the following information:

• In-App Behaviour (Analytics): We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data including:
  • Screens visited
  • Elements viewed in the Periodic Table
  • Life Origins stages started and completed
  • Chemmy Game outcomes and scores
  • Session duration and app open frequency
• Crash Data (Diagnostics): We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and error logs (device model, OS version, and the technical state of the app when a problem occurs) so we can find and fix issues faster.
• Device Identifiers (Advertising Measurement): The app includes the Meta (Facebook) SDK, which may collect your device's advertising identifier and app install/launch events. This is used only to measure the effectiveness of our own app-install advertising campaigns.

We do not collect your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal information.

How We Use Information

• Understand how many unique users are using the app
• Identify which features are most popular
• Understand where users drop off to improve the experience
• Improve app performance, diagnose crashes, and fix issues
• Measure the effectiveness of our own advertising campaigns (install attribution)

We do not display ads inside the app, and we do not use your data for profiling or sell it for any commercial purpose.

Data Storage

App progress (game state, experiment history) is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to our servers.

Children's Privacy

The app is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the app and data was collected, contact us and we will address it promptly.

Third-Party Services

These services process data on our behalf or for advertising measurement as described above. We do not display third-party ads in the app.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your data. Limited device identifiers and app events are shared with Meta solely for measuring our own advertising campaigns, as described above. We do not share data with data brokers or any other third parties.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at this URL. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
